About the Position:
In this role, you’ll oversee and promote the company’s quality, environment, safety, and health policies, ensuring consistent application. Quality is the primary focus of this role and comprises approximately 70% of this role. You’ll lead a team of 10 with 2 direct reports. Your team will uphold standards and drive continuous improvement through a 24/7 plastic injection molding operation running 4 shifts. Together, you’ll maintain compliance with industry regulations and enhance the company’s commitment to a safe and sustainable workplace. You’ll use MS Excel and Power BI to produce reports and analysis to inform various stakeholders on how quality, environment, safety and health goals are tracking compared to plan.
About You:
You must have familiarity with quality, health, and safety standards to ensure federal, state, and local compliance. Your experience with ISO 19001 has prepared you to implement policies, administer audits, facilitate root cause analysis, and support the implementation of continuous improvement projects. Your training in lean methodologies and six sigma provides you a solid foundation. You bring a minimum of 3 years of management experience to lead, develop, and inspire your team. Your leadership style engages your team, and you enjoy helping them learn new skills and develop their knowledge base.

Qualifications:
Best-qualified candidates bring some or all of the following experience and capabilities:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, quality, or equivalent experience.
· 3 years experience in a manufacturing conducting quality, health and safety audits, developing reports, and process improvements and
· 3 years experience in management.
· Experience with plastic injection molding or similar manufacturing processes.
· Familiarity with quality standards to follow federal, state, and local regulations.
· Familiarity with health and safety standards to follow federal, state, and local regulations.
· Success implementing, auditing, and maintaining standards in quality, health, and safety.
· Capability to train production line staff in quality assessment practices.
· Demonstrated success supporting and leading cross-departmental projects.
· Experience developing and implementing lean methodologies and CI projects.
· Intermediate skillset in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Power BI.
· Communication skills to convey information in reports, meetings, and status reports.
· Ability to set, manage, and achieve deadlines while still meeting standards.
· Delivers Quality Assurance and Customer Satisfaction through policy, practice, and processes.
· Ensures Health and Safety are a top priority in policy and practice.
· Fluent in written and spoken English.
· Fluency in written and spoken Spanish is a plus (not required).
