Administration of UF Sustainable Building Rating program, currently including USGBC’s LEED, SITES, and Parksmart Program, IWBI’s WELL program, GBI’s Green Globes Program and the Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC) program.
Administration includes: Registering projects, inviting project teams to certification program platforms, communicating sustainability plan and associated deadlines with project teams, coordinating project specific questions with program reviewer, quality control review of supporting documentation prior to submission, etc.
Assist PDC Project Managers in communicating energy efficiency and sustainability goals to the design and construction teams for new construction, major renovation and interior design projects. Monitor progress achieving sustainability goals through updates to green building checklists.
Assist PDC leadership in developing facility programs for projects that are tailored for each individual project’s sustainability goals. After review of design and construction proposals, provide feedback to PDC leadership to help with vendor shortlisting and selection.
Coordinate activities with UF’s Office of Sustainability to aid the University in creating a sustainable future and incorporating energy efficiency and sustainability in day-to-day campus operations.
Responsible for other duties as assigned.

Position is a part time .50 FTE - 20 hours weekly. Desire to work in office however may accommodate some remote work.
Position is limited to a 4-month period, however, may expand beyond limited period
