Job Description
Statkraft has grown significantly in the last couple of years, and we are now in a phase where we will utilize standardization and globalization of people service to ensure best practice and future-proofing our HR services. We are looking for a strong addition to our HR Team within the payroll area to make an impact together with us on this exciting journey – that’s why we need you to join us.
Working in Payroll Operations and Strategy
Leveraging your experience in payroll operations, you will play a crucial role in supporting payroll processing and providing operational input for global projects. You will work closely with the existing global payroll team to ensure seamless integration and effective workflows, focusing on operational and technical improvements internally and towards vendors. You are eager to find better solutions and challenge status quo, securing future proofing of payroll for the best for our business
As Payroll Operations and Strategy Manager you will:
- Provide operational insights and feedback to support improvements and technical enhancements to meet future business needs
- Collaborate with global teams on projects to enhance payroll and time management systems and operations
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure effective operational communication and service delivery.
- Identify and implement operational improvements to streamline payroll processes.
- Ensure compliance with local and international payroll regulations.
- Analyze payroll data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Support the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.
- Represent Norway and Nordics in the global payroll & time team
- Act as a backup for payroll processing for Norway when needed, ensuring timely and accurate payroll runs.
Qualifications
We are seeking a Payroll Operations and Strategy Manager with the essential skills to future-proof our payroll processes globally:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Higher relevant education
- Proven experience and track record in payroll processing and operational excellence
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience with global payroll systems and global projects
- Know-how of digitalization and technical enhancements within the area
- Knowledge of local and international payroll regulations
