We are seeking experienced environmental impact assessment practitioners, from Principal Consultant to Technical Director level, to be based in our Melbourne office (hybrid working available).
You will play a leadership role in ensuring that major projects are developed in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner, with a focus on renewable energy projects in both onshore and offshore environments. You will be supported by a large cohort of industry leading technical specialists and environmental professionals.

Role Responsibilities:
- Lead EIS/EES projects and approvals strategies on major projects, both offshore and onshore.
- Lead and manage a range of projects within scope and budget, and ensure team and stakeholder relationships are maintained to an exceptional standard.
- Collaborate with technical team leads to develop and deliver superior outcomes for our clients.
- Support Account Directors in maintaining existing client relationships and develop strategies to pursue and win new business opportunities.
- Contribute to a positive team culture and mentor junior team members to develop their skills.
If you have the following, we want to hear from you:
- 10+ years’ experience in environmental planning and impact assessments, including 5+ years’ experience in environmental consulting – experience in marine and offshore environments highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in Commonwealth and Victorian environmental legislation and their application to the delivery of complex and major projects. Broader experience in other jurisdictions highly desirable.
- Excellent project management and project delivery skills, including budgeting, resourcing, scheduling, risk management, and communications.
- Demonstrated experience in building and sustaining excellent relationships with clients, stakeholders and teams.
- Tertiary degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Planning or a related discipline.
- Authorisation to work in Australia.
