We are looking for energetic people to work for a local growing solar company. Ideal candidates are motivated team players with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and master all aspects of installing PV solar systems. Advancement opportunities are available.

Primary responsibilities to preform project installations include:

• Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment
• Assembly of mounting hardware
• Working on residential and commercial roof tops as well as installing ground mounted systems
• Pulling inventory for specific projects
• Following layout of solar modules

General Description:

Assist lead technician, as required, to complete solar installations. Including other items as defined by Lead technician. Job requires outdoor work year-round with exposure to southern Arizona temperatures. Employment can require working on a roof for 8 hours a day, within a customer’s home, within a customer’s yard, and on new construction sites. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and climb ladders. Work is located within the State of Arizona.

Work experience requirements:

• Basic use and knowledge of hand tools
• Valid Drivers License and able to be covered by The Solar Store automobile insurance.
• Need to own and bring to work basic hand tools.
• Expect to buy tools necessary to complete job including but not limited to cordless drill, solder torch and electrician’s tools.

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Technical or construction trade school a plus ·
• Some construction experience with PVC, Pools, Copper, Electrical, Plumbing'
