Region NCE > SBU NCE Service > Comm. Team 1
You will join the Commissioning team, which is a group within the North Service Operation. Our customers are primary major energy companies and professional investors, but also private personas are among the investors. We are a team of 80 people - mainly electricians, mechanics, marine engineers - who commission and troubleshoot turbines on new wind farms. Also, handover to the local service teams are a main topic in our jobs. The work life on site is challenging and exciting and within a multicultural environment. Here you are responsible for planning and implementing; and you do your best in creating a fruitful environment, where collaboration, enthusiasm and humour is an integrated part of the day.

 

Responsibilities
The work will be on existing and new technologies on Vestas turbines. Your primary responsibility is:

  • Commissioning, troubleshooting and daily planning
  • Plan work on site in collaboration with Site Manager, Installation Supervisors and Project Manager
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to other teams on site
  • Observe, collect and share best practise knowledge
  • Administration and ad-hoc tasks

 

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, it is necessary that you have:

  • A technical diploma/degree – e.g. electrical, mechanical, automation or electro-mechanical
  • Experience from the wind industry is beneficial - e.g. with commissioning and troubleshooting 
  • Great skills in English language - written and spoken. Danish is not required. Please notice that for these openings we welcome all candidates with residence in either Sweden, Norway and Denmark 
  • Experience supervising others is an advantage as well as experience working in a multicultural environment

Additional information
You will work out from either Videbæk, Denmark, Malmø, Sweden, Trondheim, Norway or Warrington, UK and you will be working on sites in the region of North Europe/Celtic

You should expect travel activity up to 180 days annually (16 days out and 12 days home).
