We are seeking experienced Manufacturing Technicians with a background in mechanical assembly, particularly in the field of battery production. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with assembly processes, machinery, and quality control measures in a manufacturing environment, contributing to the production of high-quality batteries for various applications.

Responsibilities

    • Mechanical Assembly:
    • Perform mechanical assembly tasks, including but not limited to, assembling battery components, installing mechanical parts, and conducting quality checks.
    • Follow assembly instructions, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient assembly processes.
    • Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively to meet production goals and quality standards.
    • Troubleshoot assembly issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Battery Production Support:
    • Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize assembly processes, improve product quality, and enhance manufacturing efficiency.
    • Participate in prototype testing, validation, and production trials for new battery designs or improvements.
    • Maintain equipment and machinery, perform routine maintenance tasks, and report any maintenance issues promptly.
    • Adhere to safety protocols, quality assurance guidelines, and regulatory requirements in battery production.
    • Quality Control and Inspection:
    • Conduct inspections and quality checks on assembled battery components and finished products to ensure conformance to specifications and standards.
    • Document inspection results, defects, and non-conformities, and work with the quality team to address and resolve quality issues.
    • Implement and follow standardized procedures for quality control, testing, and calibration of equipment.

Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in mechanical engineering or related field is a plus.
    • 1+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Technician, preferably in battery production or a similar industry involving mechanical assembly.
    • Proficiency in mechanical assembly techniques, tools, and equipment.
    • Understanding of safety protocols, quality control principles, and manufacturing best practices.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
    • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
    • Willingness to learn new technologies, processes, and methodologies related to battery production.
$25 - $35 an hour
