Salary: $100,000 - 130,000/year
We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Process Engineer with experience in battery and lithium-ion battery manufacturing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process engineering, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

    • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for batteries and lithium-ion battery systems, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance, to implement new processes and technologies.
    • Conduct process audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
    • Analyze production data and metrics to monitor process performance and identify trends or issues.
    • Design and implement quality control measures, including inspections, testing, and validation of battery products.
    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for production issues and process deviations.
    • Lead process improvement projects, such as yield optimization, cycle time reduction, and waste reduction initiatives.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols related to battery manufacturing.

Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing process engineering, with a focus on battery or lithium-ion battery manufacturing.
    • Strong knowledge of battery production processes, materials, and equipment.
    • Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and lean manufacturing principles.
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software for process optimization (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Six Sigma).
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
    • Effective communication skills and ability to present technical information to diverse audiences.
