JOB RESPONSIBILITES

Is responsible for providing overall administrative and construction support for our Project Management team. The duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing and other duties will be assigned based on the position role within the business unit.

  • Maintain a pipeline of solar projects from work order to installation
  • Liaison and main point of contact between the customer, company and outside vendors
  • Directly work with engineering department and install field and provide necessary support
  • Prepare and review plans and solar drawings prior to submitting for permitting
  • Work with all relevant finance partners and process change orders with customers
  • Gather and evaluate information, properly document and report data
  • Work with city inspectors, subcontractors and field technicians
  • Manage multiple calendars; prioritize and plan work activities using time efficiently
  • Update notes in Salesforce and other CRM systems for all related tasks
  • Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
  • Responsible for submittals of various documents that are accurate and timely
  • Interacts with Subcontractors to ensure other aspects of projects such as roofing are taken care of
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree is preferred, but will considering someone with experience Construction Management or other related discipline
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a construction-related role
  • Can be a combination of training, education and relevant work experience that is equivalent
  • Extremely detailed and organized and ability to process improve
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft products such as Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
  • Great problem solving skills and good judgment
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about the solar industry or construction
  • Patient, calm, and have a positive demeanor
  • Strong attention to details
  • Have a sense of urgency and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, record-keeping and follow-up skills
  • Effectively prioritize, multi-task, and manage time well
  • Proficient with desktop applications such as Adobe Acrobat, MS Office applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Must be a self-starter and a problem solver
  • Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedures
  • Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position
  • Tactful and has professional demeanor, and ability to interact effectively with managers, employees, vendors and others
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
  • Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • A keen proficiency with order to cash processes, activities, and reporting within Salesforce enterprise resource planning system

**Knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment and methods would be ideal


Working Conditions

  • General work environment – sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning
