Job Description

Mission:

  • Budgeting and cost control of support functions and departments of the commercial platform 
  • IFRS 16: Analyze and record the rental contracts of all business units, update the Group's internal consolidation web tool, extract monthly journal entries, provide accurate analysis of IFRS 16 accounts, Actual vs. Budget, etc.
  • Re-invoice costs to various regional companies in accordance with service agreements
  • update monthly templates for monthly business reviews 
  • Perform reconciliation of management accounts with statutory accounts 
  • Maintain ERP accounting database (cost center) ) with the interfaces
  • Verify the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of corporate controllers' reporting
  • Ensure the relationship with the company secretaries and the production of the documents they need for simple governance obligations ( appointment of director, filing of accounts, etc.)

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years as business controller and/or  GL accountant 

Skills: 

  • Fluent spoken and written English 
  • Accounting training, confirmed knowledge of the main IFRS standards and consolidation of accounts.
  • Good at presentations, summarizing, likes working with numbers
  • Curious and flexible: eager to handle different tasks, take on new challenges 
  • Confident in interactions with managers, controllers and other stakeholders 
  • Proactive, energetic, problem solver 
  • Team player, respectful of others, good communicant- Practical, organized, dedicated to work, meets deadlines
