Job Description

We are looking for a colleague, who would join our team and help us ensure workplace healthcare provisions for employees across Ignitis Renewables operational countries (Lithuania, Poland, Latvia and Estonia). You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Collaborating with the employment department to verify new starter's medical risk factors  
  • Analyzing and evaluate results from mandatory medical examinations, coordinating with stakeholders for alignment 
  • Enforcing occupational health requirements, ensuring compliance with company and country legal standards 
  • Organizing and implement healthy lifestyle programs and employee health promotion initiatives 
  • Providing guidance and support in first aid situations for employees as needed 
  • Collecting occupational safety and health data, preparing comprehensive reports for the Head of HSSE 
  • Conducting introductory briefings on occupational health and safety rules for newly hired employees, ensuring compliance through the digital training platform. (training will be provided) 
  • Identifying occupational risk factors and assess their impact on worker health, implementing necessary measures for prevention 
  • Conducting ergonomic assessments of workplace environments and working arrangements, including psychological and ergonomic risk assessments such as RUBA/RULA
  • Ensuring a systematic approach across all operational offices and projects 
  • Liaising with country managers and heads of departments about initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) or Certified Occupational Health Nurse-Specialist (COHN-S) certification preferred
  • Proven experience working in occupational health and safety, preferably in a corporate or industrial setting 
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with employees at all levels of the organization 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
