Job Description

We are looking for a colleague who would join our Ignitis Renewables team and help us oversee related sourcing, participate in negotiations, and manage all commercial aspects, fostering key relationships and optimizing value. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Together with the Work Package Manager, initiating and handling early engagement with package-specific Tier 1 and accompanying supply chain entities (designers, consultants), elaboration, and handling of respective Request for Information processes
  • Developing strong supplier relationships and engagement in the industry to secure supply and anticipate upcoming package-related supply chain constraints
  • Initiating, managing, and elaborating on the entire tender process with a focus on (a) all tender document management and (b) all commercial input and clarifications
  • Handling complete, package-related supply chain relationship and document exchange management processes, including responsible management of all clarification and deviation registers
  • Preparing for and participate in all package-related negotiations, leading all commercial negotiations in close coordination with the Work Package Manager.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Economics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration and/or Engineering with relevant commercial expertise 
  • 8 years previous experience in a senior or lead procurement position; within offshore wind and within the respective package would be an advantage
  • Experience in offshore wind development projects or supply chain business
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently
  • Ability to work within the ‘projects magic triangle’ in quality, time and budget and under deadline pressure, ensuring efficient procurement execution while meeting financial constraints.
