Job Description:
- Construction Lead. As a construction lead on the Offshore Wind Project, you will be responsible for follow up on all activities on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the desired level of quality.
- Manage contractors, ensuring compliance with contracted terms, coordinating with vendors, and overseeing the entire construction project from start to finish.
- You will participate in site and constructability reviews and Your goal will be to ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders involved.
- Work closely with Contractor to ensure correct HSE focus. Demonstrate passion for HSE values, quality, and results through “walk the talk” and communication across sites.
- Participate in development and managing project schedules, tracking deadlines, and ensuring timely completion of each phase of the construction process
- Work with architects, engineers, and other professionals to develop project plans, ensuring that all necessary permits and zoning requirements are met
- Identify project risks for the fabrication work on all sites, and follow up on de-risking the activities.
- Participate in project tender evaluation, making recommendations for cost-saving measures and improvements to project efficiency
- Conduct site visits and inspections, ensuring that all construction processes are compliant with building regulations, codes, and standards
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including detailed project reports, budgets, schedules, and construction plans
- Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to address any concerns and keep everyone informed of project progress
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent
- Requirements A minimum of 7 years' experience in construction management or a related role
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols, building codes, and regulations
