Job Description

We are looking for a colleague to lead and execute package contracting activities for at least one or multiple Tier 2/3 contracts, with a focus on Offshore WTGs, Offshore Foundations, Offshore/Onshore Substation, MV/HV Cables, or Port activities, typically involving several 10 million Euros. Additionally, take charge of related contracting activities, including accompanying design, consultancy, and further contracting contracts. Participate in all associated contract negotiations, led by the Work Package Manager, and assume responsibility for all contractual matters. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Taking responsibility to manage, elaborate, and maintain all contractual agreements/CoC (Key Contract Terms, Contract, contractual Schedules)
  • Handling complete, package-related contractual document management and elaboration process, including responsible management of all contractual clarification and deviation topics
  • Working on the basis of the project's (purchase) governing model: Implement the contractual processes, requirements, tendering rules, reporting, and document handling standards
  • Preparing of and participation in all package-related negotiations, lead all contractual negotiations (in close coordination with the WPM)
  • Coordinating with the package-related Contract Manager, takes the lead in the whole contractual document management/elaboration, including Contract (Agreement) and contractual Schedules
  • Interacting with all related interfaces to/from the package, participate in all related meetings. 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Contract Management (on basis of Project Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management and/or Business Administration) or in Legal (with focus on management of major Contracts)  
  • 5 years previous experience in a senior or lead contract management position within offshore wind and within the respective package would be an advantage
  • Experience in the handling of contractual topics and negotiations for the contacts up to 50 mEUR (BIMCO, Service & Consultancy, Construction and related)
  • Experience in offshore wind development projects or supply chain business
  • Ability to interact trustworthy and respectful with suppliers, and within teams and with other stakeholders
  • Very good proficiency in written and spoken English.
