Responsibilities
- Design component (PCBAs, junction boxes, sensors) test fixtures for mechanical validation programs including structural durability, environmental testing, and vibration durability
- Develop vibration, environmental test plans to validate that components meet overall Lightship product target
- Execute various component and sub-system level test plans with external test houses and internally
- Troubleshoot system/component failures and aid in failure root cause analysis
Minimum Qualifications
- Pursuing BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Rising Senior or greater, graduating pending 2025
- Hands-on prototyping experience
- Strong engineering fundamentals in statics, mechanics, prototype manufacturing and data acquisition
- Proficient in a CAD program, CATIA preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience troubleshooting electromechanical systems is a plus
$30 - $30 an hour
