Vestas Quality > Construction Quality > Construction Quality Deployment & Readiness

Customer Project Execution (CPX) Quality Deployment & Readiness (Formerly Construction Quality) is a department within Vestas Quality, that has the purpose of ensuring the robustness in QMS for achieving quality outcomes and targets in construction. Also acts as point of contact for QMS/QMO organizations for Construction Quality Matters. Ensure preventive QA in Construction by means of Baseline Package Implementation check, verification of readiness internally and with external subcontractor and closed lifecycle loop with product and modules owner team. The department consists of Quality Readiness Leads (Onshore, Offshore and Plant & Services) and a Quality Deployment Leads with primary engagement in new development projects and supporting regional Quality teams

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality processes in the function and implementation in the regions, provide function-specific input and feedback to global process owner
  • Support harmonization of quality reporting and strategy deployment within the department and secure the performance management of the metrics from line of business 
  • Align with CPX Business process development team where required and in alignment with the Global QMS department
  • Support management reviews, engaging all relevant stakeholders, assessing effectiveness of Quality Management System
  • Harmonize the KPI Quality dashboards, including indicators, with the regions and liaise with the Vestas Quality Analytics team to secure data collection and accuracy
  • Lagging and leading indicators establishment in agreement with Vestas Quality leadership team and Global Construction team, tracking performances, developing a technical approach (QA). Deployment to the regions and follow up
  • Facilitate unified and aligned Construction Status report applicable to Global, Staff and Regional activities

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience in QMS area in Quality & Operations field
  • ISO 9001- knowledge 
  • Six Sigma certification / Project Management certification is added advantage, Not mandatory
  • Good and effective communication skills (English will be the baseline language)

 

Competencies

  • Must have a sense of urgency for change, improvement, and achieving results
  • Ideally, more than 2 to 3 years of QMS working experience
  • Effective problem-solving capabilities and solid collaboration
  • Be able to collaborate and influence others
  • Knowledge of relevant quality tools and methodologies
  • Process-oriented, and a strategic flair
