Pre-Assembly offshore wind turbines aims to optimize the use of installation vessels reducing the number of lifts needed in offshore conditions and ensure the assets mechanical completion is achieved in a controlled environment. Pre-assembly of offshore wind turbines consists of mounting several towers sections at a quayside to be ready for nacelle installation, perform nacelle pre-commissioning and load-out the components to the offshore installation vessels.

 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate interface between Pre-Installation and Installation (Load out) and Commissioning Pot Calls (materials and personnel)
  • Support on liaison with Ship Agents work related to Port Calls with Deputy Site Manager and Installation and Commissioning Project Managers
  • Provide activities planning overview and flag operations Manager operational threats.
  • overview resources readiness and personnel allocation at offshore activities in line with crew change analyst
  • Act as a key contact person with Ship agent and general Port call preparations.
  • Participate and follow up the outstanding issues related to resources and materials of offshore operations - daily Calls with the vessels
  • Act as a backup on Site plans related to work flow, materials management, daily report, local purchasing and resources management
  • Support on local procurement process and vendors qualification to overcome operations disruption and emergencies outage offshore
  • Site planning demands related to fuel, material, daily operations - Installation & Commissioning
  • Support on materials readiness for Pre-Installation and offshore Installation and Commissioning in liaison with internal stakeholders
  • Support Installation PM with Ship agent demands related to Port Calls Cargo Logistic agent - Load out
  • Support Commissioning PM with Ship agent demands related to Port Calls Cargo Logistic agent - Commissioning

 

Qualifications

  • Business Administration bachelor degree or Engineering. MBA in International Business and background with Logisitics Planning.
  • Experienced with international logistics projects and warehouse simultaneous operations settings
  • Experience in the Wind Energy (or relevant) industry with a demonstrable experience with of actively achieving targets. Entry level will be determined by years of experience.
  • Ability to coordinate numerous procurements and relationships simultaneously including Internal and external stake holders.
  • Independent leader. Ability to maintain a large workload, often providing support to processes managed by colleagues.
  • Advanced presentation and communication skills (Verbal and Written).
  • Fluent in English, any additional language is beneficial.
  • International experience dealing with different cultures.
