Digitalization & Automation Solutions as part of Engineering & Business Service Center enable vestas strategy & future development by delivering standardized & scalable solutions, while offering support to manufacturing / logistics systems, data management of inter-company plant master data set ups, development of new trade concepts/models,  process automation using digital tools, global training & support, being open-minded and accessible for business, with focus on identifying problem root causes & providing long-term solutions in COO area.

 

The department is operating globally, so an International Experience comes with the job. We are looking for skilled personals who are well structured, well organized, and ready to work in an International Environment with many Cultural Differences. You need to be able to handle large amount of data, coordinating with various stake holders. There is a dotted line towards Supply Chain Configuration & Excellence that operate global in the entire value chain, hence the initiatives, prioritizations and coordination will be in close collaboration with the team responsible for handling the global material flows.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creation & modification of intercompany plant vendors / customers and supplier pick up address in SAP.
  • Ensure that data processing is performed according to the processes and instructions set out by the MD manager (timely, completely, valid, accurately)
  • Responsible for entering the new master data record in the (source & target) system(s) based on approved requests by the MD Requestor (and in case of critical  changes by the MD Expert / MD Business Process Owner)
  • Responsible for updating relevant business transactions which are impacted by the change Responsible for assessing the request, and consulting with the MD Expert to ensure the data quality of the request before processing.
  • Responsible for reviewing master data after entry to ensure accuracy and compliance with the change request.
  • Review and update the defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure their accuracy in reflecting the day-to-day business.
  • Change existing master records based on the approved change request from the MD requestor.
  • Inform the change requestor on the status of the request.
  • Participation in continuous improvement activities.
  • Responsible to meet KPI /SLA targets for the activities handled 
  • Ensure timely reporting, feedback, and communication to relevant stakeholders


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required 
  • Freshers or Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience within a similar role and ideally have systems administration experience, on an ERP system such as SAP MM/SD is desirable (non-IT preferable)
  • Knowledge of SAP Master Data including Materials Master, Vendor, Customer, Purchase Info record, Source list
  • Knowledge of Inbound/Outbound material trade will be an added advantage.
  • Good communication skills at all levels
  • Good Excel skills
  • Flexible regarding work hours due to global support.
  • Experience of Outlook and level 1 in Microsoft office package

 

Competencies

  • Good Analytical skill and knowledge on Master Data process.
  • Level 2 in Microsoft Office Package/applications would be an added advantage (basic knowledge with Win shuttle, Service now, VBA, MACROs and PowerPoint)
  • High attention to detail with a solution-oriented approach
  • Should be up to speed on all business rules and regulations which apply to a certain MD object
  • Should have an affinity with master data management which implies an orderly and structured way of working / characteristics.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
  • Structured and organized. Outgoing and polite towards our stakeholders.
  • Need to be a Go-Getter & a good team player.
  • Proactive and self-driven. Good sense of humor.

Your primary workplace will be in Chennai, India.

Flexible regarding work hours due to sites in Europe and US.
