Aerodynamics & Mechanical is a part of Vestas Power Solutions, which is the cornerstone of Vestas. The Hub Module is a part of Aerodynamics & Mechanical and has sites in Denmark, India, and Portugal. The module is fully responsible for the competences, design, specification, and documentation of the hub. This includes design and analysis from the early concept study for new turbines to the final specification for production. Additionally, we are also looking ahead to verify new technologies such that these can be part of future turbine project. The Hub team is also providing technologies in the areas of hub design and service.

You will join a very international team, that is in India, Denmark, and Portugal. The team support each other and take great pride in developing the best solutions. Responsibilities

  • Design and specify Hydraulic systems and components, hose routing and schematics in close collaboration with other HUB Sub-Module and according to requirements and specifications
  • Improve existing hose and hose assembly designs to reduce cost
  • Provide technical support to customers, commercial team and production
  • Design experimental prototype hose and fittings for testing and validation

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor / Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural or similar
  • 3-5 years of experience in within engineering, production, supply chain
  • Experience in analytical calculation and FEA, ANSYS (Workbench)
  • Experience in 3D modelling and 2D drawings
  • Good knowledge on practical aspects of Hydraulics and good knowledge in hydraulic in overall
  • Simulation & Optimization of Hydraulic Systems in Matlab/Simulink

  • Capture engineering requirements, define and control project scope with deliveries on time and with quality
