POSITION SUMMARY:
Lion Energy is looking for an ESS Support Technician to join our team in our American Fork office. This person will provide technical guidance and support to our business and customers. We seek someone to become an expert on our products to keep our customers smiling. Tech-savvy, friendly, and can explain things in an easy-to-understand way by email, phone, or in person.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
We help individuals, families, and organizations become energy-independent. We do this by providing smart lithium energy storage systems that range from small hand-held power banks, solar generators, and RV batteries to home and large custom solutions that are safe, silent, and renewable. They are good for people and for our planet! Lion Energy is among the top 10 fastest-growing companies in the state of Utah. We have a very friendly work environment. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Act as product expert—Understand our Energy Storage Systems to the level where you can answer any customer question. When customers have specific needs, help them find the best solution. Evaluate the customer’s objective and suggest alternatives and recommendations. Work with our various engineering teams to explain any issues found and provide solution recommendations.
- Provide customer support – Collaborate with other technical team members to provide exceptional customer service to our customers. Provide Excellent and straightforward solutions to problems over the phone, email, and in person. Travel locally and across the nation to provide support to customers.
- A High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required
- Two years of related technical support experience
- Technically savvy
- Experience troubleshooting issues and achieving solutions
- Electrical Experience preferred
