Your new role

You will join our ​Carbon Capture Centre of Competence and will work on exciting projects that will drive the shift toward carbon-neutral energy and products for a brighter tomorrow. You will be responsible for solving complex technical challenges in various industries (energy-from-waste, cement, chemicals) while working closely with clients and our other carbon capture experts in the global Carbon Capture Centre of Competence at Ramboll.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • To solve distinctive, complex and challenging technical or business issues for clients within the Carbon Capture sphere.
  • To act as a senior consultant (m/f/d) within the area and support the centre’s position as thought leader in- and outside of Ramboll.
  • To deliver engineering management including planning, organizing, and coordinating resources/ processes to achieve project objectives within scope, time, quality and budget.
  • To engage in business development work when required.  

Your new team

We invite you to bring your expertise and join us as our new Carbon Capture Expert (m/f/d). You will be responsible for solving complex technical challenges in various industries (energy-from-waste, cement, chemicals) while working closely with clients and our other carbon capture experts in the global Carbon Capture Centre of Competence at Ramboll. Your carbon capture colleagues are located around the world in Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden, UK, Australia, Singapore and US. You will help close the gap between the current state and the desired future state of sustainable development in the hard-to-abate sectors. ​

About you

These include:

  • A PhD or MSc degree within a relevant scientific/technical/ engineering field
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience after the latest degree obtained
  • Strong technical acumen, professional experience and relevant domain knowledge in carbon capture processes
  • Hands-on experience of energy and chemical modelling tools, such as Aspen, Promax or Thermoflex
  • Relevant work experience from a Carbon Capture technology vendor or engineering company
  • Engineering management experience from a similar role
  • Project management experience is an additional plus
  • Good at managing ambiguity, opportunities and risks
  • Customer-oriented and are characterized by a self-reliant, reliable and structured way of working
  • Intercultural competence and international experience
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written and an ability to communicate effectively with various level of management within the company and with potential clients, suppliers, subcontractors and partners
