Solar Sales Representative

Location: Glendale Heights, IL

As a Solar Sales Representative for Advocate Construction, your primary responsibility is to promote and sell solar energy solutions to homeowners and businesses. You'll engage in direct sales efforts by canvassing neighborhoods and reaching out to potential customers. Your role involves educating prospects about the benefits of solar energy, assessing their needs, and customizing solutions to meet those needs. Additionally, you'll collaborate with construction teams to ensure seamless installation and customer satisfaction.

This role empowers you to create your own destiny through developing meaningful relationships with customers through a customer-centric sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and build a network of customers in the residential sector
  • Educate homeowners on solar rebates and tax credits; eliminate any obstacles to going solar
  • Create and maintain precise customer records in our CRM system.
  • Maintain honest and ethical sales and business practices, integrity is core to our company values Present weekly sales reports to management
  • Maintain timely and effective communication with all internal and external parties.

Requirements:

  • Must have 2+ years of previous sales experience
  • Must be able to pass a thorough background check Must possess a valid drivers license
  • Must be able to travel to required Sales Trainings Must be able to carry 50 lbs.
  • Must thrive in the outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Must be able to work non-traditional hours when required
