Summary:
As an EHS System Specialist, your primary focus would be on managing and optimizing software systems related to safety, health, and environmental compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Software System Management:
- Oversee and maintain EHS software applications used for safety reporting, incident tracking, compliance management, and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper implementation, configuration, and integration of EHS software.
- Work with vendors to obtain quotes for subscription renewals. Ensure that subscriptions are renewed in a timely manner before due dates.
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform upgrades, and manage user access.
- Data Management:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret EHS data from various sources.
- Generate reports and dashboards to monitor safety performance, compliance metrics, and environmental impact.
- Compliance Assurance:
- Ensure that the EHS software system aligns with regulatory requirements (such as OSHA, EPA, and industry-specific standards).
- Conduct audits to verify data accuracy and system effectiveness.
- Training and Support:
- Train users on EHS software functionality and best practices.
- Provide ongoing technical support to users and address any system-related queries.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and propose enhancements to the EHS software system.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required in fields such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Environmental Health, or Safety
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Professional certification (ASP/CSP, CIH, CHMM) preferred or looking to seek
- Prior experience in EHS software administration or related roles.
- Familiarity with Environmental, Health and Safety Management Systems (EHSMS)
Knowledge/Skills:
- Proficiency in EHS software applications (e.g., Enablon, Intelex, Cority, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and reporting.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be comfortable working in a team setting
- Positive attitude, self-driven, strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated effectiveness in accomplishing goals
- Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills
- Ability to work flexible hours occasionally

- This role requires up to 10% of travel(domestic)
