Position: Geologist/Environmental Engineer (Considering various career levels)

Location: Iselin, NJ or New York Metro areas
Salary Range: $55,000 to $75,000 (based on experience and location)

Your Responsibilities as a Scientist:
- Collect soil, water, air, and/or building material samples.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data.
- 80% field work estimated
- Write technical reports and proposals.

What we're looking for:
- BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or other related field
- 2+ years of experience with environmental field sampling and data collection
- Experience with local NJSRP, NYBCP, PADEP highly desired.
- Strong technical writing skills, the ability to successfully multi-task, safety awareness, and a good record and understanding of safe work practices
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred
- Light construction experience/hands-on skills a plus.
- Experience with data management and report preparation.
- Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportation (driving personal vehicle) is required.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
