Environmental Sample Tech/Driver

Environmental Sampling Technicians/Drivers collect air sample media from monitoring devices at various locations in the Chicago Metropolitan area. A company vehicle is provided and is picked up/dropped off daily at the company site. Local travel throughout the Chicago area is required and can vary from day to day.

Requirements:

• Meticulously document all air sampling tasks (training is provided)
• Use mobile devices
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Work weekday, weekend and holiday shifts (at least every other weekend),   from 4 to 11 a.m. daily (includes commute to pick up/drop off company vehicle)
• A valid driver's license with a safe driving record
• Authorized to work in the USA
• At least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent

Qualifications:

• 1 to 2 years of general work experience preferred, but not required
• Environmental training, such as OSHA 40/24 Hour HazMat certification, preferred, but not required
• Data recording and processing skills preferred, but not required
