We design and manufacture innovative, sustainable packaging components for cold-chain shipping of food and pharmaceutical products. Job Description

TemperPack is seeking a passionate and driven Sustainability Intern to join our team in Richmond, VA. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of sustainability while contributing to impactful projects aimed at advancing our environmental goals.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

The Summer Intern will be working closely with Sustainability Manager to develop KPIs that measure the environmental impact and sustainable value of our newest product, WaveKraft, to use with customer communications, internal goal setting, and market comparisons. 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field.
  • Passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
