Weston has an exciting opportunity to be an Environmental Data Analyst. The Environmental Data Analyst will work in a dynamic environment which occasionally includes deployment to the field or client locations.  They will manage multiple data streams in a vigorous reporting environment to help our clients make positive decisions about environmental assessment and impact.  The Environmental Dat Analyst will have a strong knowledge of environmental data, chemistry, electronic handling and manipulation of data, and database applications.  

Location: Seattle, WA

Expected Outcome:

  • Rotations on field projects to support multimedia sample data collection.
  • Travel for up to 2-week periods at a time to potentially hazardous waste and other hazardous sites.  
  • On-call rotations to support field sampling and monitoring projects and/or emergency responses

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related degree with a minimum 0-1 years of professional experience in a team environment.   
  • Experience designing custom reports with scientific data from environmental projects in the field. 
  • Experience with managing and reporting scientific data using both database processes and or reporting tools and services preferred.   
  • Willingness to think outside the box and to utilize technology/innovation to make a difference in protecting the environment.   

Preferred Skills:

  • SQL Server, T-SQL, and Access
  • Excel, and scripting languages like VBA, Python, and R
  • Business analytics software experience
  • Analytical data management systems such as EQuIS, Enviro Data, and/or Scribe.
  • Lab Information Management Systems (LIMS) outputs.

Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.

Salary Range: $36,600 - $48,900 - $61,100
