Freedom Solar Power is looking for a Solar Recruiter Sourcer to serve as a strategic partner with our Talent Acquisition team to source and deliver the best talent for Operations, Corporate, and Sales roles.  As a Solar Recruiter Sourcer, you will be responsible for building active pipelines for Recruiters to screen.  This is an in-office position located in our corporate office (78744).

Essential Functions and Duties:

    • Deliver high-quality professional-level candidates by utilizing strategic sourcing and pipelining methodologies, business intelligence, internal and external networks, professional organizations, social media, branding initiatives, and technology tools in partnership with Recruiters and Hiring managers objectives.
    • Provide and manage the full spectrum of high-volume recruitment sourcing and services for the businesses that make up Freedom Solar Power (residential and commercial).
    • Build and own a passive candidate pipeline of the best talent in the industry.
    • Manage proactive pipelining and candidate care initiatives for functions by leveraging industry knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies in the talent-sourcing discipline.
    • Participate in a variety of recruitment activities so that the organization’s recruitment process is efficient, effective, and equitable.
    • Under general supervision, research job descriptions for open positions and create a list of the hiring managers and company requirements.
    • Prepare job postings, job descriptions, and other materials in accordance with our recruitment standards.
    • Respond to inquiries about the organization’s recruitment activities and the status of job vacancies.
    • Maintains applicant file system and state compliance as needed. 
    • Executes and monitors online candidate search campaigns using a variety of interest search engines as a vehicle for producing quality talent for strategic pipelines.

Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of prior experience executing targeted search, marketing, and communication strategies to build both active and passive candidate pipelines.
    • 3+ years of prior experience sourcing/recruiting for a variety of high-volume needs such as Sales, Corporate, Field/Trade Operations, and Commercial Operations.
    • Agency experience is highly preferable with In-house or Client-based Talent Acquisition expertise.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities are essential.
    • Highly organized with a sense of urgency.
    • Self-directed and motivated with proven ability to problem solve, drive for results, and excellent follow-up skills.
    • Experience with cold calling, networking, data mining, conducting internal/external job board searches, researching and networking with industry-specific associations, and other related tasks.
    • Experience with multiple recruiting platforms, ATS, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace.
    • Ability to interact at all levels of the organization and implement targeted sourcing initiatives to meet high-volume hiring initiatives.
    • Strong team contributor and collaborator in all forms; new ideas, team calls, mentoring, training, partnerships with Recruiters and Hiring Managers, etc.
