Overview:

We are looking for an HR / Payroll Specialist in our new office location in Midtown Manhattan NY Office. This position is a full-time position , In Office position and processing payroll biweekly and maintain and managing weekly employee time card review. This role also responsible for hiring new employee including candidate screening setting up a interview scheduling and conduct new hire orientation.

Responsibilities

  • Process accurate Payroll for a company with nearly 50-75 employees bi- weekly.
  • Assisting Each department manager in recruiting efforts & job board activity, candidate screening & interview scheduling to fill open positions quickly and successfully.
  • Assist in annual review process.
  • Coordinate, Develop and conduct new hire orientation and management training shorts.
  • Will assist with benefits administration. (Billing, Enrollments, Terminations, Employee changes, COBRA Notice etc.)
  • Will assist to check and report and answer HR Email activity several times daily.
  • Plan, Develop and implement policies and auditing procedures to ensure accurate timely processing of payroll.
  • Oversee sick and PTO accrual any paid time off program and maintain employee database.
  • Keeping the Employee handbook updated with compliance.
  • Duties include reviewing hours on timecards, editing timecards and approval.
  • Other office duties as needed.
  • Generate various recurring and special reports.

Qualification

  • Paycom Software System Experience Plus / Preferred
  • At Least 2-3 Years HR / Payroll Experience
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills (G suite / Microsoft Excel etc.…)
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred in HR or related field and or associate degree with equivalent HR/ Payroll experience.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytics skills.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Highly collaborative / Team player.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
