Greenberg Traurig, a global law firm, currently has an excellent full-time employment opportunity in the Immigration Department of our New Jersey office. We offer competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package. 

Position Summary:

This position will provide direct support to our paralegals and attorneys. Highly collaborative group working closely together in a fast-paced environment to prepare a high volume of business immigration applications. Candidates should also be flexible to work overtime as needed. 


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prints/scans documents; saves scanned documents into our electronic file system, FileSite
  • Follows up with clients and foreign nationals for completed questionnaires and missing documents; requesting checks
  • Processes incoming and outgoing correspondences, including preparing UPS mailing envelopes
  • Maintains client files, including editing letters and forms
  • Assists with data and time entries requests
  • Updates information and uploading documents into an immigration case management system
  • Requests checks and processes invoices
  • Calls USCIS and DOS as requested
  • Assists with light junior paralegal work when needed
  • Other projects/tasks as assigned
  • Some tasks involve billable time but there is no annual billable time requirement

Qualifications & Prior Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Minimum of 6 months to a year of administrative experience supporting multiple people in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment 
  • Prior immigration experience and/or law firm experience is a plus
  • Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly
  • Computer proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
