Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand modelling requirements for battery energy storage systems.
• Develop and maintain high-performance, reliable engineering software solutions using Python.
• Build financial modelling tools applicable across diverse regions.
• Implement and optimize algorithms for battery management and monitoring.
• Integrate software solutions into BESS products in collaboration with hardware engineers.
• Test and validate software to meet industry standards and customer requirements.

Experience Required:

• Fundamental knowledge of engineering software development.
• MSc/MEng or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Portfolio showcasing system optimization experience.
• Strong mathematical mindset and proficiency.
• Expertise in Python; familiarity with Git and SQL preferred.
• Experience in energy systems analysis and noise modelling desirable.
