Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead a team of electrical trainees and solar installer in various residential and commercial solar installation projects.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
  • Oversee and participate in the installation of electrical systems for solar energy projects.
  • Set up and direct successful wire pulls.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project updates and requirements.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and provide guidance and training to team members.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports for office reporting and material needs.
  • Complete Residential Main Panel Upgrades (MPU)
  • De-Rate, relocate brakers, relocate MPU's, AC disconnects and occasionally assist in completion of solar systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical component and system issues
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the process by educating customers about the product(s) and offering real-time updates on job status
  • Document and update job status in the company database

REQUIREMENTS

  • A valid state Journeyman Electrician License
  • Minimum of 2 years in a team leadership position
  • Must have a background in solar electrical installations, both residential and commercial.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical installation for all phases of construction.
  • Strong Knowledge of current NEC code requirements
  • Ability to read and understand plans
  • Ability to drive to jobsites with a clean driving record and willingness to undergo drug testing.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills for office reporting and material needs.
  • Low voltage experience, including data termination, is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft, Office, OneDrive and Teams.


Salary Description
$35 - $45 /hr
