Role Importance and Responsibilities:

The evolving energy landscape in Illinois necessitates a proactive approach to solar solutions, including the integration of backup batteries for efficient home power. As a Solar Consultant with Aveyo, you'll play a vital role in educating homeowners about these solutions. Your responsibilities include lead generation, appointment scheduling, and providing comprehensive information on solar energy benefits during consultations. Collaborating closely with the sales team, you'll ensure a seamless customer experience and contribute to our mission of promoting renewable energy adoption.


Who is the ideal candidate for this role?

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Initiate engaging sales consultations by conducting door-to-door interactions, fostering rapport and interest among homeowners.

  • Conduct comprehensive sales consultations with homeowners, adeptly educating them on the numerous benefits of adopting solar energy solutions and integrating backup batteries into their homes.

  • Demonstrate commitment to the team dynamic by actively participating in regularly scheduled meetings, contributing valuable insights and ideas to drive collective success.

  • Develop and execute a meticulously crafted customer service strategy aimed at not only meeting but exceeding client expectations, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience at every touchpoint..

  • Consistently exceed predefined monthly and quarterly performance targets, showcasing a dedication to achieving and surpassing set goals while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and excellence.


What are the requirements for this role?

  • A preference for an active HIS (Home Improvement Salesman) license, though this credential is not obligatory and we welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds.

  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in either sales or customer service, demonstrating a proven track record of success in engaging with clients and delivering exceptional service.

  • Full-time availability with flexible scheduling options, allowing for up to 40 hours of work per week, enabling candidates to tailor their work hours to suit their lifestyle and commitments.

  • Exceptional communication skills and a knack for building strong interpersonal relationships, with fluency in multiple languages considered a valuable asset that can further enhance the candidate's effectiveness in engaging with a diverse clientele.

  • Completion of pertinent sales and technician training programs, ensuring that candidates possess the necessary knowledge and expertise to excel in their role and provide expert guidance to clients.

  • A demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, maintaining consistency in performance while adapting to evolving priorities and demands.

  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation, enabling candidates to travel efficiently and effectively to meet with clients and fulfill job responsibilities.


Compensation- Will be discussed further during the interview stage and will depend on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
