This position reports to the Senior Director of Cost Estimation, or another management personnel that the President Company may designate. This position reports to the Irvine, CA office but will maintain an Remote or hybrid schedule of working out of their home office and the Irvine, CA office. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. This position is expected to travel up to 5% of the time.  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist with EPC/Dev project estimation workflow 
    • Facilitate insurance quotes, tax rates and incentives 
    • Review workflow to assure all departments tasks are on schedule 
    • Review project intake form 
    • Track estimation requirements 
    • Schedule and coordinate meetings 
    • Liaison between internal departments 
    • Assist in coordination of bidding process 
    • Provide requirements and schedule to internal departments 
    • Update and log bids and quotes for historical data 
    • Cooperate with internal stakeholders for the quotation clarification 
    • Assist in analyzing and leveling quotes 
    • Analyze specifications details on equipment 
    • Estimation cost review and managing until construction 
    • Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents. 
    • Track changes of projects deliverables, I.e. drawings and equipment specifications 
    • Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders 
    • Facilitate existing company policies 
    • Document and file structure / control 
    • Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Excellent organizational skills 
    • 5 years in a high volume contracting 
    • Analyzing bids / quotes / project & product specification 
    • Construction industry experience is a plus 
    • Understand and delegate workflow 
    • Ability to coordinate, plan and schedule teams 
    • Multitasker 
    • Assertive

    • Ability to strategically implement task orders 
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. 
    • Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills. 
    • Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel 
    • Experience or familiarity with software such as Bluebeam, Trimble Suit, and/or eBuilder 
$70,000 - $90,000 a year
The above-listed salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. The salary range shared in the job description is for the listed position and only pertains to the candidate if they work in Irvine, CA. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to internal pay equity, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, geographic location, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications. An additional discretionary bonus structure or incentives may be offered as part of the overall compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, dental, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
