Job Purpose

Reporting to Director, Treasury, the Treasury Analyst will join a small Finance and Treasury team and will handle Treasury and Loan Compliance tasks for a fast-growing renewable energy company. Responsibilities include monthly construction and operating draws, project financing flow of funds support, debt and interest reconciliations, tracking of compliance deliverables and covenants under the loan agreements, Letter of Credit and bond issuances as well as maintaining and updating the databases and trackers for debt, letters of credits, bonds and compliance deliverables. Additional responsibilities including managing the processes around opening and closing bank accounts, setting up online access for team members and updating signers and user access as needed. The Treasury Analyst will also assist in putting together policies and procedures for the Treasury team and other projects on an ad hoc basis.


Responsibilities

  • Collect and reconcile debt service invoices for construction and operating loans including principal and interest invoices, swap invoices and bank fee invoices
  • Verifying wiring instructions on monthly draws and gathering supporting files needed for withdrawal packages
  • Assist in calculating cash waterfalls at month end and quarter end for the construction and operating projects to support month end draws
  • Help maintain databases used by the Treasury team including the Debt tracker, Cash Balances tracker, Compliance tracker, Bond tracker and Letter of Credit tracker
  • Manage and process Letters of Credit applications including new issuances, increases, decreases, extensions, and expirations
  • Manage back and forth review of Forms of LCs and Bond Forms between issuing banks or sureties and beneficiaries
  • Administer bank KYC requests for new accounts and other paperwork and diligence around the opening and closing of bank accounts or updating users and signers
  • Set up or release wire payments

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years demonstrated experience in Treasury, Finance, Accounting.
  • Bachelor’s degree or concentration in Accounting, Finance or related business major.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of treasury and cash management theories and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and theory.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Sage X3, Blackline other financial software.

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • Energy/power industry experience a plus.
