Job Description

Essential Duties and Accountabilities

  • Providing ESG support to IFS Group, and Chief Sustainability Officer
  • Improving ESG data management, working across functions to set up regular reporting and monitoring of strategic data points
  • Lead on Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) action plan, regularly connecting with stakeholders and aligning on progress
  • Managing the annual sustainability and ESG reporting, including the IFS Group Sustainability Report, KPI reporting, the development of climate-related reporting, and related assurance activities.
  • Promoting best practices across Group, using global standards and frameworks such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)
  • Driving internal and external communication to stakeholders on the Group’s ESG performance and credentials.
  • Working closely with colleagues to improve understanding and integration of material ESG factors into business decisions and the product lifecycle, covering both risks and opportunities.
  • Assessing the positive financial impact of ESG initiatives.
  • Remaining up-to-date on ESG trends and developments, translating these into actionable improvements .
  • Supporting assessment of climate change risks and opportunities across the software technology industry and application to IFS Group.
  • Assisting on any ad-hoc projects related to Sustainability
  • Working closely with Double Materiality Analysis, analyzing its key findings and incorporating them into overall IFS sustainability strategy

Qualifications

To be considered you will have:

  • Experience working in ESG & sustainability, in-house or at a consultancy
  • Expertise with common ESG & sustainability standards, frameworks and measurement (GRI, SASB, CSRD, TCFD)
  • The ability to partner across functions and levels of the business to achieve results
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Fully competent in Microsoft Office (incl. Excel).
  • University educated in a relevant subject (or equivalent work exposure)
  • Comfort working in a matrix organisation and with a regional or global remit

 

In addition it would be beneficial to have:

  • Previously worked on the implementation of a sustainability strategy
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience of ESG strategy development and implementation within a private equity held company
