The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for general administration of domestic.
dispatching, documentation to customers and all stages of bookings for export loads. This career
requires excellent verbal and written communication, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite as
well as other programs, and administrative experience.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
 Process, submit and approve export documentation.
 Dispatch domestic and export documentation.
 Schedule drayage and loading from ports to yards for export loads.
 Assist primary domestic dispatcher with scheduling and rescheduling of
domestic trucks for loading at company yards.
 Work as a liaison between the yards and external carriers for any issues that
arise.
 Serve as a back-up for the domestic and export dispatchers when needed.
 Communicate with the commercial team as required for shipping schedule
updates of contracts.
 Other job duties as assigned.


REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES
 Export documentation process experience is a plus but not required.
 General transportation experience is a plus but not required.
 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 Strong problem-solving abilities.
 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other software programs.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
 High School diploma or GED required.
 Data entry and administrative experienced required.


Other Job Demands
Work is generally performed in a traditional office environment. Prolonged
periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer are required. Travel to our scrap metal
recycling sites is often required. Working hours may vary and occasional evening or weekend
work may be required. You may be required to lift and carry light weights.
