Job Summary: As a Tire Technician at Weitsman Recycling, you will be responsible for the meticulous inspection, repair, and maintenance of tires on a diverse range of vehicles and equipment. Your expertise in tire maintenance, keen attention to detail, and dedication to safety will be crucial in supporting our mission. Responsibilities: Tire Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of tires to identify damage, wear, and ensure proper inflation. Tire Repair: Skillfully repair punctures, tears, and other tire damage using industry-standard tools and techniques. Mounting and Dismounting: Proficiently mount and dismount tires on various vehicles and equipment. Rotation and Balancing: Execute tire rotations and balance tires to promote even wear and prolong tire life. Routine Maintenance: Perform routine tire maintenance tasks, including rotations and alignments. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of tire inspections, repairs, and replacements for documentation and analysis. Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and protocols, contributing to a secure work environment. Collaboration: Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to address and resolve tire-related issues promptly. Work Area Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and in compliance with safety regulations. Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining an organized inventory of tires and related supplies. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a Tire Technician or in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of tire repair techniques and equipment. Strong attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy tires. Willingness to strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines. Valid driver's license.
