We are looking to for a passionate Field Solar Sales Consultant to join our growing solar provider company. As a Field Solar Sales Consultant, you will have the first contact with our customers, providing them with information about our products and the benefits of going solar. Your duties may include but are not limited to analyzing the needs of the customer, calculating resources, preparing quotes, demonstrating our products, and providing after-sales support. You may also be required to visit customer sites and consult on larger installations.

To ensure success as a Field Solar Sales Consultant, you should have excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for solar energy, great communication skills and though it’s not required the ability to speak more than one language and a solid background in sales is a plus. Ultimately, Field Solar Sales Consultant builds rapport with customers and provides them with customized solar solutions.

Solar Sales Consultant Responsibilities:

  • Door to door sales to generate potential new clients
  • Provide customers with information about company equipment and solar systems
  • Gather information to accurately identify the customer’s solar needs
  • Identify solar energy products and systems to best suit the customer’s needs
  • Prepare or reviewing designs for the customer’s solar installation
  • Provide customers with quotes, sales orders and tax credit information
  • Provide after sales service including courtesy calls and site visits
  • Follow up on sales quotes
  • Generating potential leads for new accounts

Solar Sales Consultant Requirements:

  • Previous work experience as a Solar Sales 
  • experience required 
  • Ability to relate technical information in layman’s terms
  • Basic knowledge of sales and office software

PAY

We have a very competitive Full Commission Pay Structure 

  • First year on target earnings $80,000. Top performers make $300,000+

Schedule:

The work schedule sometimes changes with the seasons but is primarily as follows:

  • Monday to Friday 1:00pm-6:00pm
  • Saturday 11:00am-4:00pm
  • Team Meetings Tuesday’s and Friday’s 11:00am-12:00pm

Supplemental Pay:

  • Bonuses
  • Commission 

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
