Accounts Payable Manager
Description

As the Accounts Payable Manager, this role will manage all accounts payable activities for Advantage Capital, ensure timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers, and maintain accurate records and control reports for management.


Responsibilities 

  • Review all check requests and payments that are due to be made to creditors for validity and accuracy, ensuring all requests and invoices have proper approval.
  • Prepare all payments and remittances. 
  • Correspond with vendors and respond to any queries.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Maintain records and vendor file.
  • Manage expense reimbursement system for 180+ employees.
  • Manage overall cashflows for the firm’s operating company.
  • Prepare various annual 1099 forms.
  • Monitor accounts payable aging reports and manage outstanding balances.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant accounting regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Analyze accounts payable data and generate reports for management review as needed.
  • Implement and maintain systems and procedures to enhance the accounts payable process.
  • General administrative support for the accounting section.

 Qualifications 

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in an accounts payable role
  • Proficient in data entry and management
  • Organized with an attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required
  • Discretion and confidentiality a must
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Intermediate Excel skills required
  • Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus
