About the Job
Madison Energy Infrastructure (“Madison” or “MEI”) believes in the power of clean energy infrastructure and has quickly emerged as a preeminent developer, investor, asset owner, and operator of distributed generation. This role will work closely with the CEO and VP, Investments to research certain trends and prepare investment thesis. The investment thesis will contribute to shaping strategy components for the firm and could result in future M&A or strategic investment activity. This is a 10-week position starting mid-May and we are looking for class of 2025 MBA graduate candidates.  

What You’ll Be Doing:

    • Research adjacencies that are complimentary to renewables
    • Prepare investment thesis based on market research and company objectives
    • Liaise with senior staff to understand business verticals
    • Make recommendations on how investment thesis will fit within current strategy and growth plans

What We Are Looking For:

    • Currently enrolled in an MBA graduate program (class of 2025)
    • Modeling and financial analysis capability
    • Experience with preparing presentation materials
    • Comfort in operating in a fast-paced environment with exposure to multiple departments
    • Self motivated, self starter with ability to multitask and collaborate across teams
    • Intellectual curiosity and attention to detail
    • Good communication skills
$30 - $30 an hour
Location & Hours: This is a hybrid intern role that is based in our New York City office, with a required 40-hours per week; 4 days in office and 1 day remote. (We are closed on June 19 & July 4.)
