Home and Distribution is one of the largest divisions within Schneider Electric, with an extensive global footprint and leading position across the world. Our division’s mission is to drive the electrification and decarbonation of homes and small businesses.

 

As part of the Strategy & Sustainability team, you will contribute to shaping the future of residential and building energy management, from power sockets and circuit breakers to our SaaS and analytics offerings.

 

The position reports to the Home and Distribution Global VP of Strategy & Sustainability.

 

What will you do?

  • Contribute to the development and execution of our 2027+ strategy and sustainability ambitions by acting as key content lead and project lead for key strategic studies
  • Manage the corporate-level strategic cycle, be responsible for working with division Strategy & Sustainability VP to prepare deliverables
  • Oversee the formulation of hypotheses for investigation and analysis
  • Drive content, questions, analysis, story-telling, organization, cadence & pace, working hand-in-hand with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage various stakeholders to deliver findings within agreed timelines, formulate key conclusions
  • Perform research activities to obtain relevant data and define needs or problems, with individuals within and outside of the division
  • Apply business judgement and knowledge of Schneider Electric solutions and organization to devise feasible and actionable recommendations for profitable growth
  • Prepare and present written and oral reports of findings to key stakeholders
  • Develop, manage and maintain excellent relationships within Schneider Electric – at all levels of the organization

  • Hypothesis and strategy development
  • Communication (incl. inspire and influence)

 

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of 8+ years in top tier management consulting, investment banking or similar strategy roles
  • Prior experience in strategy function within large multi-national corporation preferred
  • Advanced degree in business, economics, sciences or equivalent
  • Strong business focus and understanding of enterprise strategy methods & intent
  • Strong analytical capabilities, very comfortable with quantitative & financial analysis
  • High level of conceptual skills and an ability to operate strategically
  • Outstanding written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership team members individually and collectively, and get recommendations approved and implemented
  • Regarded as a realistic and practical individual, and is respected for ability to deliver
  • Must be an excellent facilitator and communicator
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse environments and cultures
  • Comfortable with ambiguous situations where solutions may not be immediately apparent
  • Highly independent and motivated with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
