Job Description

What will you do?

  • Responsible for overall operational performance for 1st Shift (Monday - Friday).

  • Lead all manufacturing and support teams to achieve a safe work environment in accordance with the objectives of safety, quality, cost and efficiency.

  • Coordinate manufacturing schedules and priorities within the production plan to satisfy customer requirements.  

  • Responsible for people management including: people resources, goal setting, performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, and well being

  • Facilitate problem-solving and corrective action for production and quality issues.

  • Adherence with all Schneider safety protocols and procedures. Ensures a safety focused attitude by all associates.

  • Identifying, driving, and implementing continuous improvement opportunities within the group.

  • Initiates and maintains plant requirements to all mandatory environmental and 5S requirements

  • Leading appropriate SIM (short interval management) cycles within the Schneider Production System.

What qualifications will make you successful? 

  • Degree preferred, not required. Equivalent experience and skills can be substituted for education.

  • Experience within manufacturing or possess a mechanical aptitude 

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, results driven, ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Experienced in problem resolution

  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and continuous improvement

  • Have a strong initiative to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment

  • SAP experience preferred
