Summary:

 

This position is responsible for leading tasks associated with the energy engineering of basic and intermediate level performance contracting projects as well as performing tasks and functions associated with the energy engineering of complex projects of unlimited scope and size.

 

Responsibilities:

 

· Lead complex energy engineering projects, ensuring successful outcomes and client satisfaction.

· Conduct advanced energy modeling and simulations, using specialized software tools and methodologies

· Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers on the team.

· Develop and implement innovative energy efficiency strategies and solutions for clients.

· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and address energy conservation opportunities.

· Stay current with industry trends and advancements in energy efficiency and sustainability.

 

 

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

 

· Bachelor’s degree in Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy engineering, energy management, or a related field, with a strong focus on energy efficiency in existing buildings.

· Professional Engineering (PE) license is strongly preferred.

· Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification is strongly preferred.

· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Expertise in building systems, including HVAC, lighting, and controls, and their energy performance characteristics.

· Expertise in energy modeling software and tools (e.g., EnergyPlus, eQUEST, HAP) and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, Python).

· Familiarity with building codes, energy standards, and government regulations related to energy efficiency in existing buildings.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

· Passion for sustainability and a desire to make a positive impact on the environment.

 

For this Colorado based position, the expected compensation range is $80,000 - $100,000 per year plus a short term incentive plan.

 

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
