Job Description

Schneider Electric has an opportunity for an eCommerce Key Account Manager located remotely within the United States. In this role you will be responsible for growing eCommerce sales within assigned channel accounts by enabling & leveraging the partners online platforms. Following strategic guidelines and utilizing best-practice online sales skills, the eKAM will accelerate sales in channel accounts.  Channel accounts may include Distributors, NSP, Retail and Etail accounts.

 

What will you do?

  • Key focus will be to improve the digital customer experience, influence demand, and drive sales of APC by Schneider Products in eCommerce, including:
  • Assure that comprehensive e-marketing product data, content and tools meets the requirements for targeted eCommerce platforms
  • Develop & manage relationships with eCommerce point of contact at strategic accounts
  • Jointly develop eCommerce sales plans with National Account Managers and directly with accounts
  • Build and maintain reporting tools that track sales and key performance metrics – And periodically report results to all key stakeholders
  • Monitor pricing alignment between traditional channels and eCommerce platforms.
  • Design, propose and jointly implement digital marketing campaigns that influence eCommerce sales at assigned accounts
  • This position will be responsible for preparing the continuous improvements action plan (SEA, SEO, Mobile Marketing, Google analytics…)
  • Analyze major competitor moves, value chain and business model (GTM) evolution.
  • Support the preparation of eCommerce communication internally and externally as an eCommerce subject matter expert for the channel

 

Internal Relationships

The eCommerce Key Account Manager will be in frequent relations with:

  • Channel Development organization, specifically National Account Managers and Program Managers
  • Key support functions: LoBs, Operations, DXE and Global eCommerce Team; align with other country and business unit eCommerce marketing managers to share best practices
  • Lines of Business teams -> Create a broad differentiated value proposition for the segment; provide input for offer development; define offer attributes for being suitable for eCommerce business model
  • Digital Customer Experience team -> for leveraging the business thru demand generation, leads management, Configurators, PIM data, digital customer experience define requirements for Partner Projects; be an active part in Digital Customer Experience projects

 

It is critical that the eCommerce Key Account Manager develops and nurtures a high-quality relationship with other relevant business and functional heads.

 

External Relationships

  • Identified / assigned key channel account’s eCommerce teams
  • Other companies within related e-business (ex. PriceSpider, Bazaare Voice, Google, 1WorldSync, Syndigo)

 

What qualifications will make you successful? 

  • Minimum 2-4 years sales and/or online sales development experience:
  • Experience in developing and leading comprehensive marketing actions plans
  • Successful experience in account relationship management
  • Good general understanding of comprehensive e-marketing product data and tools (SEA, SEO, Mobile Marketing, Google Analytics...)
  • Know e-marketing KPIs and having a general understanding of web analytics
  • Experienced in implementing marketing campaigns and demand generation activities
  • High digital IQ and familiarity with digital marketing and business intelligence tools
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
