What opportunity is available?
Clearview’s Business Technology Solutions (BTS) Practice is looking to hire a full-time Sustainability Manager. This person will report to the BTS Solutions Lead. Our firm is headquartered in Owings Mills, Maryland and while this new hire may often work remotely, it's preferrable for them to be within driving distance of the office and travel to client/prospect meetings, conferences, etc., as dictated by business need.

What will this new hire do?
The Sustainability SME will:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in sustainability, ESG, and carbon accounting.
  • Stay current with sustainability trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in the ESG domain.
  • Participate in Clearview's efforts in advising clients on sustainability practices and integrating ESG considerations into business strategies.
  • Support Clearview’s business development by leveraging expertise in sustainability to attract and retain clients.
  • Assist in the implementation and optimization of ESG software solutions tailored to client requirements.
  • Coordinate project activities, including planning, scheduling, and status reporting with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, establishing trust and demonstrating Clearview's expertise in sustainability.
What is required for consideration?
  • Bachelor's and/or master’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, business, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in sustainability, ESG, or related fields.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in ESG and Sustainability related fields.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex sustainability concepts effectively.
  • Proven ability to establish credibility and build trust with clients.
  • High level of motivation and commitment to ethical practices and continuous professional development.
What is preferred for consideration?
  • Certifications in sustainability or related fields.
  • Experience in a consulting or client-facing role within the sustainability sector.
  • Track record of contributing to business development in the area of sustainability services.
