Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Lead and prepare sustainability statement, benchmarking and identify areas for improvement.

2. Drive for continuous improvement in sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) indicators - tracking, compliance, monitoring and reporting include develop, formulate and implement group policies, business process and data management.

3. Develop and execute of relevant sustainability initiatives and practices, regulatory compliances and response strategies.

4. Proactively monitor development of regulatory rules and guidelines include Bursa LR, GRI, FTSE4Good and others. Assess its potential implication and drive initiatives, strategic input and action plan for effective management and implementation.

5. Monitor sustainability data collection and management for sustainability reporting and benchmarking.

6. Establish, collaborate and work with internal cross-functional team members to develop appropriate goals, metrics and process for measuring the Group’s performance with respect to sustainability and ESG. Coordination and execution, create higher awareness and drive the implementation of agreed initiatives.

7. Annual Report drafting & preparation timely, copywriting and content management, and ensuring Bursa Listing Requirements compliances.

8. Develop and content writing for external communication and stakeholder engagement by way of drafting, writing, editing, proofread and updating of public information materials including annual reports, sustainability reports, company website, corporate publications, corporate briefs, articles, scripts, presentations materials, press release, Q&A documents, video scripts, speeches and others.

9. Copywriting and content management and consistency to convey the Company’s values aligned to the Company’s reputation strategies.

10. Administer, manage and updating all public information onto company website timely and ensuring compliance to Bursa LR and other relevant guidelines.

11. Monitor and update print and digital coverage of company info and activities to ensure accuracy.

12. Organize and manage corporate events including Annual General Meeting (AGM) (physical and virtual platforms) and other corporate events to meet objectives.

13. Monitor relevant news/reports, keep track of trend, issues and industry related matters that may impact the company’s interest, and initiates action plan whenever necessary. Archive news and reports.

14. Develop/manage and monitor compliance to Bursa Listing Requirements and other statutory requirements. Keeping abreast of changes in regulations and legislation.

15. Any ad-hoc assignments as assigned by superior from time to time.

Requirements:

• Talents with functional experience and portfolio with at least 8 to 10 years of functional experience and exposure in corporate affairs, sustainability, internal audit, finance, compliance and corporate governance and others equivalent.
• Relevant experience in medium to large PLC is highly preferable. Good working knowledge in implementing sustainability requirements through strategies, targets, monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Good knowledge in international sustainability standards such as Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI) and FTSE4Good.
• Strong writing and editing skills (primarily in English). Capable of crafting out appropriate content and materials. Clear and concise communications skills.
• Detailed, meticulous and organized in planning, managing and executing assignments with effective coordination across business units.
• Proactiveness and strategic thinking. Creative thinker and team player with a positive attitude and high integrity
• Confident and can-do attitude. Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to drive and proven team player.
• Possess a keen sense of urgency and commitment to excellence and accountability.
• Resourceful, good research skills, detail-oriented and proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
