Department Overview

 

Position Summary

Ensures and monitors the environmental strategic planning, partnership and program implementation responsibility for Gas, Electric, Safety & Shared Services, and Energy Supply Line of Businesses (LOB). Monitors PG&E environmental policies and procedures. Interacts with LOB management to integrate environmental management within key business processes. Ensures compliance, and establishes processes to meet the LOB business objectives and metrics. Continuously drives safety performance using training, tools, initiatives and other resources provided to improve safety.

    Qualifications

    Minimum:

  • Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Experience in risk management, environmental, 6 years
  • CA Class C License, or equivalent
  • Desired:

  • Masters Degree in Business Administration or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Experience in risk management, environmental, 8 years
  • Leadership experience, job-related, 1 year
  • Environmental Assessor certification
  • Record of Program Management training completion
  • Record of HAZWOPER-Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Hazardous Waste Site Operations training completion
  • Record of Professional Auditor training completion
  • Record of Project Management training completion
