Job Description

In this role you will serve as EHS Coordinator, reporting to the EHS & Sustainability Manager. 

Essential duties and responsibilities: 

  • Complete risk assessments on equipment and processes using Avery Dennison methodology. 
  • Support and implement Company EHS programs throughout the site. 
  • Assist the management/ supervisory  team regarding EHS compliance 
  • Assist in evaluating emergency response plans for the site. 
  • Measure and communicate Safety/Environmental on-site performance
  • Assist in site EHS audits and ensure documentation of actions from planned audits. 
  • Support the EH&S function of the site to ensure that an effective accident prevention program is maintained and that appropriate measures are taken to comply with corporate and Health and Safety Authority requirements.  
  • The position may also incorporate EHS training, recordkeeping, performing incident and accident investigations.  
  • Works closely with Engineering and Maintenance departments ensuring safety/environmental compliance of projects and equipment. 
  • Support the onsite industrial hygiene program.

Qualifications

  • 3rd level qualification in Health&Safety
  • Good communication and written skills
  • Good multitasking skills 
  • Willingness to learn and research EHS legislative requirements
  • Experience within EHS desirable but not essential
