 About the role
You will partner with the Commercial team (including Product and Sales) and the marketing team to develop the product and content strategy to be used in our sales enablement and marketing materials.
 
You will regularly engage with our Customers and Stakeholders.
 
As you progress in the role, you will deepen your understanding of the technical and competitive advantages of Energy Vault’s products and solutions.
 
Utilizing your product experience with hardware and software, you will develop a product marketing and content strategy roadmap. 
 
You will lead the development of Product and Solutions Playbooks and help shape commercial communication strategy. 
 
You will work 3+ days per week out of our Westlake Village, CA headquarters.  Up to 20% travel.

What you will do

    • Product Strategy: Support the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with the company’s goals.
    • Market Research: Conduct market research to understand the voice of the customers, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
    • Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between various stakeholders, including customers, sales, marketing, and engineering teams, to ensure product goals are met.
    • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the product through its entire lifecycle, from conception through development, launch, growth, maturity, and eventual decline.
    • Develop the product content for marketing.
    • Develop our product training and education programs.
    • Follow and analyze renewable energy market trends to position company products and offerings.
    • Continuously learn our company’s solution-based approach and technical products.
    • Build external relationships and incorporate feedback and the voice of our customer to help define our product and solution strategy.
    • Develop and produce standard reporting on the Market, Product, and Solutions.

What a qualified candidate should possess

    • 5+ years of total marketing or product experience, with 3+ years of proven capability in product marketing and content creation.
    • 3+ years’ experience in renewable energy (preferred) or hardware and software product marketing.
    • University degree or college diploma preferred, or equivalent work experience.
    • Experience in market analysis.
    • Expertise in product marketing strategies.
    • Excellent project management, organization, time-management, planning, and budgeting skills.
    • Keen interpersonal effectiveness, rapport building, ability to manage conflict, and selflessness.
    • Analytical prowess, mind, quantitative aptitude, an eye for detail and key performance indicators.
    • Copywriting experience.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders, in-person and remote.
    • Comfort in fast-paced, rapid-growth environments.
    • Experience in public companies is a plus.

$115,000 - $150,000 a year
In addition to base salary, there is a 20% target annual bonus and RSUs provided.
